This drink is one of our versions of Chocolate. We normally have it for breakfast or in the afternoon for tea. It goes very well with Pandebonos or Pandeyucas (Cheese Bread).
Chocolate con Clavos y Canela or Chocolate with Cloves and Cinnamon (English version below)
Ingredientes
- 1 litro de leche.
- 2 pastillas de chococlate o 4 cucharadas de Chocolate en polvo (Cadbury or Galaxy)
- 1 astilla de canela
- 3 clavos de olor.
Preparacion
- En una olla mediana colocar la leche, la canela y los clavos de olor.
- Poner a fuego medio y dejar hervir.
- Añadir a la mezcla el chocolate y revolver constantemente con una cuchara de palo o un molinillo.
- Cuando la mezcla empieze a hacer burbujas, bajar del fuego.
Nota: Se puede servir con crema batida y canela en polvo por encima.
Chocolate with Cloves and Cinnamon (English version)
Ingredients
- 1 litre of milk.
- 4 tbsp of Chocolate drink Cadbury or Galaxy
- 1 cinnamon stick.
- 3 cloves.
Preparation
- In a medium saucepan, place the milk, cinnamon and cloves.
- Place over medium heat and bring to boil.
- Add to the mixture the chocolate, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
- When the mixture begins to bubble, lower the heat.
Note: You can serve it with whipped cream an cinnamon powder on top.
